ready or not......

I hate spiders. Any and all spiders are on my "wish they didn't exist" list. Thank goodness for Terminix. The poor guy that came out to spray our house yesterday didn't realize he was in for 101 questions about what spiders look like, what climate conditions they like, when will they go away etc. I even asked him if all pest control companies use the same stuff! lol. My attempt to find the strongest spider killers on earth! Just so you know, he once worked for Orkin and he said they are all close to the exact same stuff. Oh yeah, this all came about AFTER he killed a family of fiddle-backs in my garage! Whew! So Kyler and I have been looking into joining a new gym. Preferably one that has a kids play area! So we went to tour one yesterday and before we went in Kyler and I had decided that we were not going to sign up until we had "slept on it." My main concern was the kids area so I was really anxious to see what it was like. After signing a waver we were taken on a tour and the first stop was "THE KID ZONE," okay, good deal, lets check this out! As we crack the door to enter, an echoing sound of dirty little, snot nosed kids screaming at the top of their lungs filled our ears! "Keep cool," I'm telling myself as I'm freaking out a little inside! About 5 seconds of that was all I needed to decide that I was quite so sure about this whole gym kids care thing anymore. Unfortunately Kyler decided after seeing the free weight area he no longer needed to "sleep on it." He was ready to sign up! (now I'm really freaking out inside) As we set at the sales man's desk all I can think is that Ive got to face the fact that I will be exposing my child to that untamed jungle of a kid zone! Mean while, I guess its pretty apparent that I have not lost all my "baby weight," because the sales guy was trying to sell us a $1200 package of training for me! He said it was a great way to get rid of the excess weight! WHAT! As if that wasn't enough, he proceeds to ask me if Kyler is encouraging me to loose weight! I tell him that Kyler doesn't care what I look like (because this is what Kyler tells me every day) and the sales guy actually has the nerve to say "well sure he does, look at him, its apparent that he takes care of himself why wouldn't he want the same for you." This guy is really lucky I am more concerned with the Kid Zone to pay much attention to his poor attempt to sell us overly priced personal training! To ease my mind, we made a second visit into the Kid Zone and much to my surprise it had calmed down drastically. The attendant quickly gave us the run down of how the Kid Zone worked and however I am not 100% comfortable I'd say I'm about 80% comfortable which is huge! Oh and might I add, if you haven't figured it out already, I have yet to leave my 5 month old baby girl with anyone other than family and 2 friends! Well, I guess it's time I put my big girl mature mommy panties on and deal with it!
